Serves 4 Prep Time 1 hour 1 lb. ground venison 1 single pie crust 1/2 lb. hot sausage 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. oregano 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs 1 8-oz. can tomato sauce 1/4 cup onion, chopped 1 fresh tomato, diced 1/4 cup green pepper, chopped CHEESE TOPPING: 1 egg 1/4 cup milk 1/2 tsp. salt Worcestershire sauce 2 cups cheese, shredded Heat oven to 425 degrees. Prepare pie crust for 9 in. pie. In skillet, brown meat, drain. Stir in salt, oregano, pepper, crumbs, tomato sauce, onion, tomato and green pepper. Pour in pie shell. Combine cheese topping ingredients, mixing the egg, milk, salt, and worcestershire sauce with 2 cups shredded cheese.
