Serves 2
Prep Time: 45 minutes

4 venison chops

salt and pepper

8 smoked bacon slices

1 large yellow onion, quartered

1 16 oz. can small Irish whole potatoes, sliced

4 Tablespoons butter

Salt and pepper chops to taste. Wrap 2 bacon strips around each chop and secure with toothpicks. Place chops on grating over hot coals. Broil each side until medium done. At same time, place onion and potatoes in pot with butter, salt and pepper. Cover and cook over campfire, stirring occasionally. When ready, pour contents into tin platter.
